Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most commonly asked questions are shown below. Please ask us if you cannot find the answer to what you are looking for.

Q.  How do I choose the type of stamp I should order?
A.  This depends on a number of factors. Click this link to view our handy selection guide.

Q.  How long does it take to have a stamp made?
A.  Most normal stamp orders take between 2 to 5 working days, depending on the type of stamp. The product page will show the lead time. Very large orders however will take longer.

Q.  How long does the ink last in self inking stamps?
A.  There is enough ink for thousands of stamp impressions. When the ink runs out, you simply replace the ink pad. Contact us if you need a replacement ink pad for your self-inking stamp.

Q.  Can I re-ink the ink pad in a self inking stamp?
A.  You can re-ink the pad but you need to ensure that you are using the correct ink. Permanent damage to your stamp can result if the wrong ink is used. Contact us If you are unsure.

Q.  How long does the ink last in the Pre-inked stamps?
A.  There is enough ink for many thousands of stamp impressions. When the ink runs out, you can re-ink the stamp with iStamp, Ultimark or MaxLight ink. It is important to use the correct ink to avoid damage to your stamp.

Q.  Will my stamp work on any surface?
A.  The short answer is no. Self-inking stamps and Pre-inked stamps should only be used on absorbent surfaces (normal paper, uncoated cardboard, paper bags etc.). Conventional stamps can be used on non-absorbent surfaces if you use the correct stamp pad. See the Product Category for Stamp Pads for more details.

Q.  Can I submit my own artwork or design to have made into a stamp?
A.  Yes, if your artwork is suitable you can supply it to make your stamp. The artwork should be in black and white with no grey shading. The best files are high resolution JPG, or EPS vector files or PDF files. Please note that we do not recommend artwork with large bold or solid areas, such as white print on a black background as these might have “blotchy” patches when stamped.

Q.  What is the best way to clean my rubber stamp?
A.  Occasionally, lint or dust dust might get stuck on the rubber. The easiest way to clean this is to take a piece of cellophane tape and press it firmly across the rubber with your finger. When you remove the tape all foreign particles will also be removed.

Q.  Do you make stamps to use on Coffee Cups?
A:  Yes. The conventional rubber stamps are suitable to use on coffee cups.  We recommend the image size be kept to a maximum of 50mm height and 60mm width.

Q.  Do you make Signature Stamps?
A:  Yes. You can email or upload your signature and we will make it into a stamp. You should sign with a black pen on plain white paper, rollerball pens are best. We suggest you sign 3 or 4 times and we will choose the best quality.

Q.  Do you sell wholesale?
A.  No, we do not sell on a wholesale basis. However, if you have a particularly large order we are happy to quote a discounted price based on the quantity.

Q.  Do you deliver outside of Australia?
A:  No. We only deliver within Australia.
